Rabid fan as I am now, I must admit I was never one of the early adopters of the Harry Potter series. I scoffed at the books at first because they were being recommended by my non-reader friends (yes, I am a bit elitista like that, haha!). Saw Deathly Hallows with Catin and Kerstie at the Podium last night. I really enjoyed it. The story was tight and relatively accurate. It's more emotionally-charged than the others. Voldemort/Voldemort slash at The Wizarding World of Harry Potter (Universal Studios theme park).

The Harry Potter rides (and etc.) look really nice! I finally found something I'd want to go to the US for. ^.^;

It's still June 1 in some parts of the world, so technically, I made Day 1. ;p

Anyway. For the first day of 30 Days of Creativity, I have Harry Potter drabble, which I reworked from an old, mostly-abandoned WIP I began shortly after Deathly Hallows. Enjoy.

I am not looking forward to the new Harry Potter movie. The mere mention of Snape still gets me depressed. I can't even bring myself to touch any HP-related material yet.

Why do the characters I love always meet tragic ends? Why can't I ever choose the ones who live happily ever after?

(Uh, because I hate heroic heroes, that's why.)
